"WHO'S TO BLAME?"

ACCOUNTABILITY

I want you to meditate on this word for a while. What does it mean? What images are summoned upon the screen of your mind?

Now take a moment to observe the world around you. Reflect upon the reality that YOU have created. Is it War? Calamity? Drama? Illness? Despair? Poverty?

Nearly everyone on the planet can relate to most, if not ALL of the above realities in some way. Sure, there are those who have spent eternity conspiring and poisoning humanity with their visions of tyranny, but in the end, it is YOU who have given them power over you. Your Priests, your Leaders, your Teachers,your Idols and your Protectors may have directly manifested forth the calamities of today that further plunge the human race into slavery, but only through YOU have they been able to accomplish such abominations.

HOW CAN THIS BE?

There are a number of contributing factors, but the source from which they all stem from is a principle I call "EMPOWERMENT."

Every man and woman on the face of the earth is responsible for the outcome of their lives, and thus, only through their actions, and lack of actions, can such realities exist. It's easy to place the blame of our misfortunes on those that seemingly have power over us. Your actions, perceptions and beliefs alone do not give them control, but your naïve act of placing trust in these forces and refusing to question their own acts. Thus, let the mirror serve as a tool to help us shape our future.
